Intrapersonal

Intrapersonal Intelligence has to do with the ability to analyse our own feelings and emotions and reflect upon them.

Not only did Hercules have to face different challenges in his life. Teenagers also have to face various challenges in their everyday life. They have to do with school, self-image, parents, friends, bullying, eating disorders.

To develop the intrapersonal intelligence means that we provide our students with activites that help them to get to know themselves better, to improve their higher-order reasoning and manage their emotions.

The activity described below deals with  personal challenges.

The students were given a worksheet that guided them in their reflective process. They had to answer questons like:

Think about a challenge you overcame in the past
How did you cope  with that? How did you feel?
What would have happened if you hadn't succeeded?

After that they interviewed their partner. We recorded some of the interviews.

Some of them showed a great degree of maturity!!!
